surcharge on foreign companies is 2.5%, if assesee is foreign non-company, than what will be the surcharge rate. is it 10% or 2.5%. pls clarify...

Surcharge @ 10% and 5% is only on Domestic and Foreign Company respectively , if net income exceeds Rs.1 crore. Otherwise no surcharge. (Asstt Year 2010-11). Thus, on Foeign Non-Company, no surcharge.
