Quick Summary
This discussion addresses whether a surcharge applies to a state government salaried employee whose total income, including arrears, exceeds 50 lakhs for AY 2023-24. The consensus is that if Form 10E has been correctly filled, the system will automatically calculate applicable relief and surcharge, including marginal relief, so no specific action is needed from the employee.

Relief is also available.
If you have filed form 10e then relief will be available as per system and surcharge will be applicable as per system .there is a provision of marginal relief also which is calculated by system..so need not worry.
