Suggest me whether to convert from pcc to ipcc or not?,

Hi,

Completed my articleship but not cleared my pcc exams gave few attempts ,I am facing with the problem of revision during examinations , There is no change in syllabus between pcc and ipcc, suggest me whether to convert from pcc to ipcc keeping in mind the following points.

Accounts paper : in pcc it is for 100 marks I feel the portion is huge , could not complete the revision due to huge portion and being the first paper could not able to write properly due to tension .In Ipcc there are two accounts paper with 100 marks each there is chance of getting exemption in both accounts paper as the portion is divided into half .if I convert in to ipcc I need to write 1 more accounts paper.
Taxation paper: in pcc income tax is for 75 and service tax n VAT is for 25 marks but in Ipcc income tax is for 60 marks and service tax n VAT is for 40 marks there is chance of getting 15 marks more compared to pcc.
Auditing paper: in pcc we get 3 days gap before auditing paper 1 day can be spent on SMIT and 2 days on auditing which helps in getting exemption in auditing n clearing SMIT paper easily,but if i convert into ipcc I have only 1 day gap for auditing and SMIT.
Need to get min of 40 marks each and to overcome aggregate problem.

My ultimate goal is clear the exam this May

Suggest the books to be followed for both the groups

3)Is there any due date for registration and need to undergo any mandatory courses?

Hi Praveen

I am also in PCC and in my opinion dont convert from PCC into IPCC as the number of students in IPCC is more as compared to PCC. and in PCC you get advantage of Accounts which solves the problem of aggregate. Also since PCC will be abolished in May 2013 onwards so maake the most use of it and clear PCC.
