if anyone want to submit his composition no. then does he have to pay tax @ 1% on his existing stock as on date???

You have to pay tax on your stock if you want to cancel your gstin.
yes , offcoures while cancellation it will open the window for the closing stock and the tax liability therin , can be setoff from ur credit ledger/ cash ledger
Yes you have to pay tax on your stock then only you can cancel your registration.
