Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies that a certified copy of the partnership deed is generally not required when filing a partnership firm's first income tax return, as no attachments are allowed. While not typically requested, it can be provided if queried later. For unregistered firms, e-filing is mandatory, but using a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) is not always required, especially if Aadhar OTP validation has been used previously. However, the profile page may still indicate DSC as a requirement.
Sir, we used to file with DSC, since past two years we have been validating with Aadhar OTP. After it expired. Now while updating Profile page, DSC is mentioned with a red astrik mark . We don't have DSc.
