Study second group ipcc or go for artilceship?

I have cleared IPCC group one in this Nov 2015 attempt (results in Feb 2016), and couldn't clear second group because of less preparations. Now I am confused whether to sit for two months and study for group two or go for articleship, my worry in articleship is the pressure there and about the leaves for my exam? Most of my friends feel that I should write exam(second group) in may and then join articleship, even i feel the same. Which one to go with? (It is going to cost me 6 months for my final attempt! )
