STCG+LTCG tax payment

As a "Senior citizen", Do I have to pay (as Advance Tax) tax on my "Already Realised" STCG+LTCG, by 15 December 2024.?? Or, Can I pay the same by 15 March 2025, without attracting Fine??

Quick Summary
Senior citizens aged 60 and above, who do not have any income from business or profession, are exempt from paying advance tax. This means you can pay your tax on realised STCG and LTCG by the deadline for filing your tax return without incurring any fines or interest charges.

For senior citizens, not having any business or professional income, there is no advance tax liability, he/she can pay the tax anytime on or before filing return u/s. 139(1), without paying any interest or penalty.

Senior citizens i.e., age 60 years or above are exempted from paying advance tax if they do not have any income from business or profession.

If "Already Realised" STCG + LTCG - You can pay tax while filing your tax return, without attracting interest or fine.
