Status of articleship

Hi friends,

I have applied for re-registration of aricles on health grounds, I have sent all the required documents to ICAI kolkata for registration process but the status of articles known as pending . I do enquired with institute for further process of articles. They have asked me to sent Rs50 DD with regret letter to file the pending file for registration process , i have followed the same but not not yet receive any letter  . What shall i do know the status of articles ?

Please tell me whether i should directly approch kolkata !
