Starting ca at the age of 26

Hi

just want to know that if its the right decision to start CA at the age of 26...i have seen people growing very fast in there professional life after compleating CA 

I heard about the direct entry scheme, so i thought that if i start right now then will be able to complete it in a particular time

Please advice that if i complerte the course in right time than what are the job prospects for me 

As my professional life is not going in a right direction as well
