We downloaded the latest Utility for filin our Service Tax Return.

Correctly entered the data and generated XML. Subsequently XML file was uploaded to the ACES Site.

After two days, when we downloaded the generated Original Return PDF document, to our surprise it was showing errors on part of Swach Bharat Cess.

There is section PART-DA where we have to enter amount paid on account of Swachh Bharat Cess. In original Utility figures were entered correctly bu while generating the XML file, utility removed these figures causing error in the return uploaded.

Hi,

Even though we have the utility, it is always advisable to do online filing rather upload. We have seen these kinda cases and stopped uploading.....we started feeding online return which can avoid such errors and also delayed filing on last day rush !!!!!

Sir,

Earlier we used to file online but most of the time due to ACES online system, it gets timed out and we used to start from fresh, causing loss of time and efforts.

Though till date we never encountered such issues with offline fiing system. This is the first time we encountered this type of issue. We have logged this problem with ACES Helpdesk and waiting for their solution.
