Dear Vipin

I dont think there is a service tax on the service received by you. The service of advertisement  by way of print media is under negative list sec 66D of the FInance act 1994.

Since it is exempt from ST question of availing credit does not arise.

Dear akshay,

I am agree with your answer bt here supplier of this services charged ST in bill.

Dear Vipin

you can deny such payment.

In case u have already paid then only u can take credit as there are many case laws in support of the same.

Advertisement is included in the definition of input services.
