Cant we get a proper acknowledgement for e-filed service tax returns?

hi Prateek,

on E-filling of service tax return we are not receiving any acknowledgement like we get while making e-return of VAT. Just after one day we are getting the wriiten as FILED on ST-3... that much is sufficient or acknowledgement is also available on site. If yes then how can we get it.

Hi you may get the ack. from the site it self which is newly add fetures under the REG and RET menu

In the RET Tab of your Login ID, there is an option "Print Acknowledgement". Fill up the details and print out the same. That would Suffice.
