Hi everyone.
I am having a document containing a combination of functions that will result in splitting a text into letters in different cells
Example - A2 contains Rangarajan

The result of the function will be
A3=R
A4=a
A5=n
A6=g
A7=a
and so on

Anyway i am Rangarajan.K. I want to share my knowledge in excel with every one and learn a lot from u all.

Regards
Rangarajan.K

thanks! its very useful

Why go for so many complex formulaes. We can also do the same from Text to columns option available under data. Thats more simpler.

Thanks Munira for ur comments

But using text to columns is a non updating function on its own. that is it is to be repeated every time. i just wrote a formula that updates itself. see my example in PAN application. type ur name in it and it updates itself.
