Dear All,
Need some advice on how to handle this situation. It appears that someone has mistakenly added my email id to their Income tax login on incometax efiling website. I have received their email for income tax submission.
Can you suggest how should I proceed on this matter? It is unlikely that I would be able to reach out to that person as I only have a name. How should I report this to IT folks so that they can get this corrected?

Thanks for the response.
I checked on the IT efiling website regarding this. There is provision to add primary as well as secondary contacts. The OTP is sent to only primary contacts - email & Mobile and not to secondary contact.
So, in all likelihood, someone has added my email id as secondary contact.
