Sole practice vs properitor

I'm a recently qualified chartered accountant willing to started practice .While applying for the firm registration ,there are two options are available
1) Properitor
2) sole practice

Can anyone tell what's the difference between these two ?

Under Sole practice.....it wil be a one person firm in your name....

while in Proprietor you will get specific firm name can only be used by you in India and can have multiple Partners (CA) working with you jointly.

you can see the list ...on ICAI.org website list of firms with two categories....as Sole Proprietorship Firms and Partnerships Firms .
