What is the definition of small service provider as per the service tax act??

As, in the act its written that all small service providers get service tax exemption but its not defined that who all comes in the category of so called 'small service providers'

Service provider is a person providing an ourput service to some person taxable under service tax law. Taxable service has been defined in the law for all the services taxable.

A small service provider is a service provider whose value of taxable services in the preseding year was less than threshold limit, presently at Rs. 10 lakhs.

small sevice provider is all service tax registered assessee whose taxable turnover is less then 10 lac excluding some assessee.
