Dear Experts,

Can a CEO be elegibe for Sitting fee for board meeting even though he is not a director of the company. And he is only employee of the company. ? Kindly clarifiy ? Is there any way we can pay him sitting fees if he cant be on board.

Hi, Sitting fees is generally paid to non executive directors since executive directors are remunerated for discharging their duties........CEO s being whole time employee of the company, sitting fees is not paid to them........
