SIP for CS course?

SIP is compulsory for a student of cs executive...only if he completes this thing n IT training ..he will be eligible for appearing  executive exam....u should contact ur nearest chapter for detail regarding SIP...

As per new training programme guidelines announced by the ICSI all students who have registered for the Executive Programme on or after 1st September, 2009 are required to undergo seven days Student Induction Programme (SIP) within 6 months of registration and before appearing for the Executive Programme examination.
That is the students who have registered before 1st sep 2009 for Executive programme will not be required to do this training

Student Induction Programme (SIP) - Duration - 7 days, to be completed by the students within 6 months of registration to the Executive Programme (Intermediate Exams ) covering the following areas:-

1.                 English Speaking Skills.

2.                 Personality Development and Life Skills – Basic                   Concepts.

3.                 Introduction to Course Contents, Electives and                  Opportunities both in practice and employment.

4.                 Communication Skills, Writing ability-drafting                   etc.

5.                 Usefulness of Reading Newspaper

6.                 SWOT Analysis

7.                 Computer Literacy (Basics)

8.                 Know your Institute

i m doing ca with cs, in ca i have done orientation programme and i t trainings. is sip mandatory for me or is it exempted. i have passed cs executive in dec. 2013
