My articleship is currently in progress. Can i get my exam forms signed by a CA other than my principal because i am on leave in my hometown and my principal is far away.

I have been told my CA friends that you can get your forms signed by any other CA...
How shall i get this confirmed???????????
SIGN BY PRINCIPLE IS MUST BECAUSE HE WILL CERTIFY THAT YOUR TRAINING IS UNDERGOING .

IF YOU R AWAY FROM YOUR PRINCIPLE THAN YOU CAN SEND FORM TO HIM VIA COURIER FOR SIGNING PURPOSES
