Hai robin u can go for re-totalling, but don expect that ur marks may get increased.

Because in most of the cases marks are never increased.

In last two attempts sum of my frns who got border marks, say like  39, 59, 49......have applied for re-totalling, but no use.

U just apply for it and don keep much expectations.

All the best

Please tell me the procedures for rechecking

                            OR

it just a retotaling  or rechecking

no, its just a re-totalling.

there are no provisions for re-checking at all.am sure.

it is clearly said by icai many times

robin ,no doubt you should go for retotaling very good marks , but dnt wait for result and start studies ,coz sum time result announce very late

Hi,

As per my opinion ICAI never allows the re-valuation of answer sheets. As per earlier ICAI notifies re-totaling of answer sheets and the fee for re-totaling of answer sheets got revised as Rs.100/- per paper and a maximum of Rs.400/- effective from may 2008 declaration of results.

PROCEDURE

Write an application by hand giving detail w.r.t. your Roll Number, Attempted Group, papers desired to be revalued and attach the required fees by way of postal order favour of Secretary, ICAI. Result will be out in max of 30 days. Chances are low but you can’t say.

Best of luck

Please find enclosed herewith sample application format for re- totaling of answer sheet. This is for your reference and record.

Best Regards
