Sfm - pattabhi ram vs makkar

Hey, I wanted to buy a book on SFM, which presents the theory and problems in simplified manner, I am confused whether to go for Pattabhi Ram sir's book or Makkar sir's notes.

Please share your views on the books of both of them or do you suggest any other book?

I would suggest you to go for Makkar Sir s notes. They are really self explanatory and has huge number of sums for practise and is truely exam oriented. It covers all the past questions n practise manual. If you can revise his notes twice or thrice you can confidently secure respectable marks in SFM. I have both of these books but i refer to pattabi ram only for understanding concepts of topics i dont understand from Makkar. Also i found some printing mistakes in pattabi ram. i guess there are few other good options like JB gupta book including 44 lectures DVDs on SFM is quite popular these days.
