Sfm classes for self study

Hi, I want to know which book is best for SFM ca final for self study , My attempt lies in May 2015 Pls help i am very much confused. does it enough to go with J.b Gupta Video classes and book available in Market??

SFM Module plus pm along with RTP will be a better choice rather than having any ref books....

ya.. but i have not any conceptual clearity in this subject . direct preparation from study material is it ok ???

As per i knw, for conceptual clarity J.B.Gupta is not good. Try with padhuka..100%gud for problems including all old rtp problems and for theory conceptualy its gud too..if u did nt understand then in chapter wise search in youtube videos or u can refer icai module for theory.

okie okie :) actually i have padhuka's book too.. but i have not study it yet... can i get padhuka classes from anywhere ???

Go for Sanjay Saraf classes. That would be best for CA Final SFM

For self study go for S.D BALA ND V.PATABHI RAM book of SFM i d only book which talk to u like a teacher.... nd for other books like padhuka, sridhar or ny one nt a better understanding book ad per my view .... i also faced d same problem in sfm bt finally happy after sd bala sir's book

As Amit said rightly, S D bala is the best book for self study. You will really feel like a live lecture. If u don't have classes, then only option remains for conceptual clarity and thats S D Bala/ V Pattabhiram book.

Once your concepts are clear, then you can try some problems from other books for variety. But ICAI PM/RTPs are must.

Shridhar has good variety of problems but does not clear concepts. Those who have done classes won't understand what is the difficulty in understanding FM without classes. So people may suggest other books. I have Shridhar as well as S D Bala. As I could not understand from Shreedhar, I had S D Bala and it really hepled me.
