 Can u pls mention the source for the above??..saw the very same message here in CCI in sum other forum bt the statement is not supported by any valid source..Many eminent faculties in Chennai has assured that there is not much change in the New syllabus compared to the Old..If u go through the latest editionPractice Manual the so cald deletions mentioned above still remains..I think for the Old syllabus converted students its better to go ahead with the concept that there isnt much deletion from what they have studied except for  few theory topics given in ICAI's site(announcements)..Then coming to additions..If u give A close look at the past New syllabus question papers, they havent tested too much in the newly inserted topics..Its jus that they have shifted their focus more onto IFM& Derivatives..The weightage of marks for New syllabus is different from Old syllabus..
