Service tax temporary registration

Dear Sir/Madam,

We have taken service tax temporary registration in 2005, at that time we dont have PAN Number for my company.

later in we have done Service tax new registration with PAN based in 2012.

the service tax dept group are different from first registration and present registration .

please let me know whether we have to surrender the temporary registration certificate to service tas dept or not?

what is the procedure?
