Service tax return

suppose a transporter delivers the goods to a destination of the consignee as asked by the consignor and his amount of transaction amounts to rs 10 lacs....so does he have any liability to pay service tax or shall he file a nil return of service tax. ..kindly advice on d above matter. .. thanx :)

single consignment is crossing ST threshold limit,

Generally after crossing 9 lacs turnover, he has to apply for ST1 registration.

Transport of Goods service comes under RCM, i.e, ST liability on recepient.
