If you are having excel format of FORM III (E)- Return-cum-challan under rule 5 of the Central Sales Tax (Bombay) Rules-1957

both the returns has to be filed separately.

You have to file two saperate 2 return for Half yearly with Panalty of Rs. 1000 each for late filing of return. You can nt fill all 12months date in one form.

Yes,

- you will have to file two separate returns for each half-year of 2007-08.

- penalty will be applicable for late filing of returns

- if service tax has not been remitted on time, interest @ 13% will be applicable

- some times, the concerned superintendent who receives the return will insist for a covering letter addressing to the Commissioner explaining the reason for not filing the return at the appropriate time.
