I am currently doing one business with a particular name, now i want to start another sector service with another firm name. Is it possible to get my service tax registration altered and can add a new firm name with continuing the old one?
Please tell me the procedure for the same.

you had mentioned that, starting another service sector with some other name, then you need to apply for new ST number for new number,
you can also do the one thing, instead of starting new firm, continue in the existing one and alter your ST-1 and add the required service business you are doing.
