Service tax registration
Dear Friends, I am doing business of travelling and have turnover of Rs. 1400000/-. Expenses for Diesel is Rs. 600000/-. what will be limit to registered under act whether it is 1400000/- or 800000/- ? Direct Expenses are considered to determine value taxable service? plz help its urgent Thanks to all

The criteria for registration of service tax is turnover and has nothing to do with the direct expenses you have incurred. Once your turnover reach Rs.9lakhs you need to register for service tax
