as many st registrations as he wish, last three digits will be marked as 001/002/003 and so on in regn.

however all such registrations would be clubbed for valuation, and exemption ( if availed)

I DONT HAVE ANY CIRCULARS BUT WE REGISTERED A FIRM LIKE THAT.THEN ST CODE WILL BE 002 FOR SECOND REGISTRATION

or procedure changes are there..

its simple registration, just you have to declare the previous registration number while registraing for new,

however with my view you have to include your new service in old registration, this will save you with double accounting and filing of returns every time, if the places are diff then use centralized registration by adding one or more places of business, number of business identity can be more than one in proprietorship case

Ya thats gud option for availing centralised registration (bt it is possible only when there is more thatn one place of business)

but in case if my client  have only one place of business then he want to  continue to provide service in his individual capacity and also as a proprieotr  of the  firm then 

is it possible to amend st registration certificate by including name of prop.shi firm in existning ST Reg  cert which is of his name ?
