Service tax refund
SIr/Madam
I have paid rs.10,00,000 excess of service tax. Will I get a refund for such amount? and I have even mentioned the details of the above while filing my service tax return.
What should i do to claim my refund?

Refund of Excess paid Service Tax can be claimed, if the same is not recovered from the clients.
The Claim for refund can be filed before the jurisdictional Assistant/Deputy Commissioner.
The details/evidence of said excess service tax payment and grounds for reund may be furnished.
The claim may be submitted in the prescribed Form-R.
