SERVICE TAX ON TRANSPORTATION AND ACCOMODATION SERVICES

Hey Hi All,

Would u guys please tell me the exact details of the following problem.

Mr. A charged a sum of amount from a group to offer them transportation facility in some remote areas and to provide them with accomodation facility (which includes providing food).

He further divided both the tasks to Commission Services Agent i.e. Transportation taken from one vendor Mr. B and Accomodation facility (which includes providing food) from some other Commission Agent Mr. C.

Now kindly advise on the following on grounds of Service Tax:- (Let's assume that he took 1,00,000 from the group and supposed to pay30,000 to both the Commission Agents)

a) how much % he should charge to the group ?? &

b) How much he is expected to pay to both of the Commission Agent?
