I am a consultant. My firm is registered for service tax. Now I have let out a commercial property on which I shall receive monthly rent , which is be subject to service tax. I wish to know whether I have to go for fresh service tax registration ( as the existing registration is in the name of my firm) ? It is also submitted that my firm is a proprietorship firm and the PAN number of my firm is my PAN only.
