Service TAx should be charged and paid.  There is no exemption for this income.

Hi Srikanth

you are absolutely correct, Service Tax should be charged on this service.

Hi Srikanth

you are absolutely correct, Service Tax should be charged on this service.

What if the CA does not have Receipt over the exemption limit say Rs.4,00,000 ?

He should not then charge the Service Tax as he is not paying it to government.....

Think abt it and correct me if I am wrong..

When ever any service tax is charged, it is payable to the government even when service tax is not leviable.
