Service tax is applicable on internet services since it is not exempted as per mega list. In case internet service provider charges service tax then need to pay service tax.

What do you mean by basic limit??

DEAR PANDEY SIR

AS YOU SAYS THAT YOU CLIENT IS SERIVCE RECIEVER ,

NORMALY IF SERVICE TAX IS APPLICABLE ON  ANY SERVICE THAN SERVICE TAX IS LIABLE TO SERVCIE PROVIDER NOT SERVCIE RECEIVER

FOR MORE CLARE , YOU MAY READ ALSO THE POINT OF TAXES IN THE TERMS AND CONDTION OF  WORK AGGREMENT OR ORDER AND BILL (INVOICE OF SERVICE CHARGE)

THERE IS NO MATTER OF ANY BASIC LIMIT IN CASE OF SERVCIE RECEIVER

GOOD LUCK
