Service tax on information technology & advertising agency

Hi,

I am working in an organisation of provding online advertising service which is exempt from service tax.

We have received an invoice from a company providing information technology service.

The bill is charged with service tax.

Can anybody clarify me that service tax can be charged upon online advertising service by an agency providing information technology  sofware service.

Please help me.......Its urgent
