Service tax on freight

For April; to may it would be taxable @ 4.215% n from june it would be @ 4.5%

In precise if GTA giving you undertaking that CENVAT credit on inputs, capital goods and input services, used for providing the taxable service, has not been taken by the service provider under the provisions of the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2004, then apply abated rate of 30% on Taxable value and charge 14.5 % (from apr to may) & 15% (for june).

If he is not providing you undertaking , then charge the respective rates on full taxable value of service.
