One of my client has started a business of COSTUME RENTAL and SALES business in bangalore. VAT is applicable for the sales part of the business and not on the Rental part, I would like to know to if any Service Tax is applicable for the Rental part of the Business.
Costume rental is not attracting service tax. Things may chane if negative service introduced in budget.
absolutely right...no service tax on costume rental as the right to possession is transfered in this case...
