I am an accounatant in one Technical Collage. I am not sure service tax are applicable on Collage fees as per circulare dtd.08/03/2017. If yes how many percentage.
Please guide me.

ANY SERVICE provided To an educational institution being Institution OTHER THAN providing pre-school education and education up to higher secondary school or equivalent will be taxable from April, 2017.
No. 10/2017-Service Tax, New Delhi, the 8th March, 2017 ..................
:- “Provided that nothing contained in clause (b) of this entry shall apply to an educational institution other than an institution providing services by way of pre-school education and education up to higher secondary school or equivalent;”. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 2017.
Service provided by College TO students n faculty is exempted even after amendment.
However, if college receives any service from other service vendor, it liable to tax.
