Please let me know whether service tax is applicable to BPO. Are there any latest circular/notifications with respect
to service tax on BPO?

Yes BPO service is taxable under Business Support Services. If the BPO is operating for foreign client then it would be treated as Export of service , thus exempt from service tax.

You need to describe the service that is provided to see whether the same is liable to service tax or not. Service tax is levied based on the services provided and not on industries (like say BPO, education, textile etc). So describe the services to examine
