Dear Sir,
I heard that recently i.e. from 01.04.2013 all the services provided by the Colleges/Educational Institutions towards the transportation services (for bringing & dropping their students) comes under service tax Act & all the services will be liable for payment of the same. If it so what was the notification No. and date what was the impact on the colleges. Pl clarify.

Notification No. 03/2013- ST dated 01-Mar-2013 had amended N/N 25/2012......
In the aforesaid notification, in Entry No. 9 therein, the words " provided to or by" an educational institution had been replaced with the expression "provided to"...........
