Who is liable to pay service tax on GTA service for A.Y.2013-14. and if transpoter himself pays service then liabity of Consinor ceases to exit.

Technically the service tax liablility has to be discharge by the consignor or consignee who so ever is payer being body corporate.

Under the new service tax regime , there is no concept of consignee or consignor. PLST is the person who is liable to pay freight. |
