Service tax liability

My firm name is XYZ , It is a proprietorship firm/HUF . My
firm is doing stiching and printing work  at closely held limited
company . My Firm  is raising monthly bills towards stiching and
printing work , and company is making payment after deducting TDS .

Please let me know is there any service tax liability  either on mr or
on company , company is registered at Excise Department and is paying
excise duty on its product.

My firm is also doing loading and unloading work in another public
limited company My Firm  is raising monthly bills towards loading  ,
and company is making payment after deducting TDS .

Please let me know is there any service tax liability either on me or
on company , company is registered at Excise Department and is paying
excise duty on its product.

Mr.mahipal jain., if the total receipts of the firm exceeds rs. 10 lacs you shall be liable to collect and pay the service tax from the concerned comapnies.., but if those are less than 10 lacs there is no need for service tax liability

As per the details provided,it seems your firm is doing job work.If it is so,and the Company is paying excise duty then there is no liability to pay service tax as the same is exempted by serial no.30,mega exemption notification.

In the second case it is a pure labour contract,so again no service tax liability.Please refer the definition of  manpower supply.
