excise duty on its product.

My firm is also doing loading and unloading work in another public
limited company My Firm  is raising monthly bills towards loading  ,

Mr.mahipal jain., if the total receipts of the firm exceeds rs. 10 lacs you shall be liable to collect and pay the service tax from the concerned comapnies.., but if those are less than 10 lacs there is no need for service tax liability

As per the details provided,it seems your firm is doing job work.If it is so,and the Company is paying excise duty then there is no liability to pay service tax as the same is exempted by serial no.30,mega exemption notification.

In the second case it is a pure labour contract,so again no service tax liability. Please refer the definition of  manpower supply.
