07 December 2015Hi, We are given commercial space for rent also we are eligible for service tax, in this service tax while filling we are deducting the property tax paid amount and balance we are paying the ST. My question is apart from this property tax amount what are all input service tax we can take while filling the service tax.
Please let me know the suggestion pls...................

The input services which could be eligible if used for providing the services as illustration are:
1. Modernisation + Repairs to building
2. Advertisement, accounting, commission for borker, legal services, telephone expenses etc.
3. AMC for Lift/ DG set, Security, housekeeping for the building.
The ST paid on these input services used for the service of renting could be eligible.
