Dear All,
My Co. deals in Logistic Business, we transport goods through air/Road/Train in all over india. We have Service tax Registration for this purpose.
My Query-
1) In J& K, Service tax is applicable or not?
2) If, Service tax is not applicable in J&K, then what we have to do for transporting goods from J&K to other part of india & vise-versa.
Pls guide.

Service Tax is not applicable in establishments in Jammu and Kashmir State. Consequently the goods transported from J&K within J&K are not subject to service tax levy. However, the services provided outside J&K will be subject to Service tax levy.
