Service tax /gst over telemedicine services

Hi..We are about to start a Private Ltd firm which will be engaged into it enabled telemedicine services.

In this kind of services, we would be getting Radiology examinations (mainly) done in a hospital or diagnostic centre across the country and we will be proving them the interpretation from our consultant doctors.

Moreover our job will be a kind of an online hospital or healthcare consultation centre.

Please let us know if this kind of service will be treated like the way hospital does or do we need to apply for service tax/GST?

Your services are to be recognised by any governmental agency as health care service, so as to get GST exemption. Otherwise it wil be chargeable as e-commerce business, and hence registration would be mandatory.

Hello sir, thanks for your reply and appreciate your valuable advice.

Sir, I would like to know these points very clearly as my CA also said that the services which I have asking falls under negative list of service tax but there are other views and they say that only doctors can avail this benefit of negative list of tax exemption.

I would be appointing Radiologist under the full time or part time basis and paying their salary/fee.

There are many doctors are already practicing the same thing in the same manner but how can I follow the same rule if I start the same kind of business.

Should I open a firm and register as a diagnostic centre then start the same business?
