Service tax on the gorss amount charged, however you may look into the threshold limit of 8 lacs
What is the rate of tax?
The rate is 12% Service Tax. 2% Education Cess on the 12% ST. and furhter 1% tax on ST i.e 50% of Education Cess. Total is 12.36%.
