Service Tax exemption on Transport ?????

this exemption only for goods carriers suplly to GTA, as reffered clause zzzzj only. so plz take care, GTA not exempt in general nature

u r  right about the circular

pl suggest about a cargo handler

 who arranges  the transport for a company and is being chargedby another transporter for service tax. when he will issue the invoice to his customer then is he right to charge 12.36 on composite bill and claim input credit on cfreight charges by another transporteror charge 12.36 on cargo handling services and charge 3.09 on transport only and claim nothing .

if he is registered as crgo hanling services, can he add another services as goods transport agency  in registration.

we are engaged in construction work there  are some sub contractors working with us plz tell us if service tax is applicable on them although principal contractor is paying the service tax of whole work rendered by sub contractors
