YES You can take input credit but you should have proper proof of travelling and job work order…

if the travels are related to taxable service output then u have to make sheets available of such expenses with the service contract reference( for audit purpose), and take credit,

Mr.Arora has correctly replied. As per the definition of Input Service (before Budget and after Budget) you are entitled to avail Service Tax Credit on travelling by AIR by your employees.
