DEAR FRIENDS

WHAT IS THE BASIC LIMIT IN SERVICE TAX TO GET COMPULSORY SERVICE TAX NUMBER 

IS IT  RS. 300000/- OR ANY OTHER?

or registration the limit is Rs. 9 lakhs. For charging service tax to clients the limit is 10 lakhs.
