what is the service tax rate applied for tour operator? and travel ticket agents? (air).

Dear Nagesh Service tax Rate applicable to Tour operators and Air travel agent is 12.36% including Edu cess

Tour operators doing only booking services - 90% of exempted. Package tour operators other than Govt. 60% is exempted. travel agents - for domestic tickets - .618% and for international ticketxs - 1.236%
